Ezidikhan Proclaims Its National Borders
The borders of the nation of Ezidikhan were recently drawn and approved on August 6th. The drafting of map, however, already began in June 2020 with talks between between Yezidi House, the Yezidi Spiritual Council and the Government of Ezidikhan.
Emergency consultations between Ezidikhan and friendly nations
The governments of Sweden, India and Iraq have invited the Provisional Government of Ezidikhan to consultations concerning the Governing Council Resolution of 15 November condemning Kurdish genocidal policies toward Yezidis. Prime Minister Barjis Soso Khalaf has vowed to meet with the Iraqi government to seek the Kurdish Regional Government’s immediate withdrawal.
Iraqi aid sought to rebuild Ezidikhan
Ezidikhan’s Prime Minister Waheed Mandoo Hammo has called on Iraq’s leadership to resume formal intergovernmental talks that had been abruptly suspended by Prime Minister al-Abadi on November 1, 2017 without explanation.
Ezidikhan Autonomy, Reconstruction Talks begin in Baghdad
Talks begun on 2 September are currently under way in Baghdad between delegations headed by Iraqi Prime Minister Dr. Haider Al-Abadi and Prime Minister of Ezidikhan Waheed Mandoo Hammo respectively.
